Are you ready for a new challenge using your skills in an international business within the Cement & Minerals industry?

Brief Description

You will have a dual role where you primarily will act as key stakeholder in system deployment projects (ERP roll-outs) on behalf of Group Finance. Further you will be part of the controlling team responsible for the external and internal reporting to Group Executive Management and OMX Nordic.

 

During ERP roll-outs you will:

·         Train key users on group processes and financial policies and how the systems supports the relevant processes

·         Ensure that deployed systems are compliant with IFRS and FLSmidth procedures

·         Quality data assurance

·         Sparring partner to key stakeholders within finance related matters

·         Guide and assist users throughout finance conversion process

·         Develops relevant process documentation and training materials

 

Detailed Description

As part of the controlling team you will get responsibility for the entities of designated countries where you have to ensure that the entities are reporting according to FLSmidth guidelines and IFRS. In detail, you will:

·         Act as sparring partner for the country CFO’s and finance people in our group companies

·         Travel to our entities to train and support the local finance department and gather project and business knowledge

·         Participate in the monthly and quarterly reporting (actual, estimate and budget) to Group Executive Management

·         Work with IFRS and develop competencies to challenge and implement new IFRS standards

You will report directly to Business Process Manager in Group Finance. You will be based in Copenhagen where you will join a team of 10 dedicated controllers. The job will include approximately 75-100 travel days per year and an immense surface of contacts as you will continuously interact with e.g. CFOs and finance departments in various group companies on a global scale.

Job Requirements

Your Background:

You have at least 3-4 years of experience from an international auditing firm and preferably an additional 1-2 years of controlling from an international company. As a consequence, you have developed expertise in IFRS standards and their application. You should as well be interested financial system set-ups and process optimisation. Any experience with EPICOR or Oracle ERPs is considered as advantage. You have mastered MS excel and are able to analyse data, challenge the information and break it down into components, parts, patterns and relationships. In addition it is preferable that you have a Master’s degree in Business Economics and Auditing (cand.merc.aud) or any other relevant finance education (cand.merc. ASC/AEF/FSM/FIR).

 

You are a team player, meaning that you adapt to the team, build team spirit and listen, consults others and communicating proactively, but also challenge your peers to improve daily.

 

You are open-minded and driven by presenting and communicating information in a logic way to people with different level of finance competences.
