Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the activities of our construction and building workers, including subcontractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and monitoring work schedules, liaising with managers and contractors, resolving operational issues, and reporting to managerial staff on work-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

    Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of construction and building workers and/or subcontractors.

    Establish and monitor work schedules to meet productivity requirements and resolve any issues that arise.

    Liaise with managers and contractors to resolve operational problems.

    Determine or recommend staffing and other needs to meet productivity requirements.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

    Report as required to managerial staff on work-related matters, including project progress, issues, and solutions.

    Oversee the quality of work to ensure it meets the company’s standards and client expectations.

    Manage resources effectively to ensure project timelines and budgets are adhered to.

    Coordinate and schedule work crews, equipment, and materials.

    Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role.

    In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and guidelines.

    Strong leadership and organizational skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

    Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

    Relevant certifications are a plus.

    Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
