Commis Chef. Dublin. Irlanda

We are looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join our team at Blackbanks Bar & Grill. The candidate will assist in the preparation and cooking of food, supporting the kitchen team in delivering high standards of culinary excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Assist in food preparation and cooking across various sections of the kitchen.

•    Ensure dishes are prepared according to the highest standards and meet customer expectations.

•    Support the Chef de Partie and other senior chefs in developing and preparing new recipes and menu items.

•    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

•    Follow instructions and guidelines provided by senior kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

•    Assist in monitoring stock levels and informing senior chefs when supplies need to be reordered.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•    Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Commis Chef or in a similar role.

•    A culinary qualification is preferred but not essential.

•    Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

•    Strong teamwork and communication skills.

•    Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Hours: 39h p/w

Salary: 34.000,00
