Job Summary: Chef with Specialization in East Asian Cuisine

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef specializing in East Asian cuisine to join our team based at a central Copenhagen location. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and mastery of traditional and modern cooking techniques from regions such as Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. You will be responsible for creating authentic, innovative dishes that highlight the rich flavors and cultural heritage of East Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a diverse menu that showcases traditional and contemporary East Asian dishes.
• Source and utilize high-quality, authentic ingredients to maintain the integrity of the cuisine.
• Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and maintains the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in East Asian cooking techniques and presentation.
• Stay updated on current culinary trends and continuously experiment with new flavors and techniques.
• Collaborate with management to design seasonal menus and special event offerings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef specializing in East Asian cuisine.
• In-depth knowledge of the culinary traditions, ingredients, and techniques specific to East Asia.
