Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:

Lily and Wild Newbridge is hiring Chef de Partie, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, for full-time, daytime shifts.

As the Chef de partie, you will work alongside the Head Chef in developing menus and preparing quality dishes with the assistance of your team. You will also manage and plan menus and stock in accordance with the duties/tasks assigned to you by the Head Chef and train incoming staff where appropriate.

You will assist in managing the kitchen team and running kitchen while working with Head Chef and the operations team to further the company business goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Execute menus in collaboration with other colleagues

Ensure adequacy of supplies at all times

Manage ingredients that should be frequently available on a daily basis

Follow the directions of the Executive Chef

Liaising with relevant companies for food orders and other supplies

Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget

Monitoring inventory and stock levels

Managing food costing and maintaining/raising profit margins

Involved in implementation of new rules and procedures for optimising cooking and other kitchen processes

Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed

Have a positive impact on the productivity of the kitchen, such as speed and food quality

Deputising as line manager for the kitchen team in monitoring and managing staff performance

Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards

Collaborate well with other colleagues and members of the wider team

Education, Knowledge & Experience Required:

Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools and processes

A deep understanding of ingredients and produce

IT literacy

Good inter-departmental cooperation and team-working ability

Ability to multitask

Ability to work well under pressure

Great time management skills

Great communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices
