Caretaker. Mid-East. Irlanda

Industrial & Farm Machinery Limited (IFM) is seeking a Full Time Caretaker.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Inspecting, fixing and maintaining equipment, furniture, fixtures & fittings.

Upkeep and renewal of paintwork.

General tidiness of building, workshop, and grounds over several different sites

Maintenance of all company grounds – such as grass cutting, strimming, weeding, spraying  

Bring to the attention of management any repairs which may need attention.

Ad-hoc duties as required.

The ideal candidate must:

Proven experience/ability to undertake caretaking duties.

Experience in grounds keeping/ garden maintenance.

Proven practical skills in carpentry, decorating and plumbing.

Knowlege of how common electrical and mechanical items work and how to repair them.

Knowledge of hand and power tools and other maintenance and safety equipment

Over 25 years of age with a Full B & BE Licence. For Insurance purposes

Ability to act on own initiative, dealing with any unexpected problems that arise.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Punctual, reliable & trustworthy.

Good Basic English required.
