Cafe Manager. Dublin. Irlanda

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate General Manager for our Cafe/Store with extremely strong operational experience to join the team.

The General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, customer service, store maintenance, inventory management, team management, recruiting, hiring, and retention of team members, financial accountability, and ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.

What it involves:

Overseeing day to day operations & taking ownership of this exciting venue

Recruitment and training of new employees in line with company ethos and values

Managing team rosters in line with volume and budget

Leading the team (10-12 people) in terms of providing excellent customer service

Maintaining excellent site standards

Reconciliation and recording of purchase orders with invoices and receipts and liaising with suppliers in any discrepancies

Meeting HACCP and food safety standards

Owning and driving the Profit & Loss for the store and identifying opportunities to grow the business

Maintaining and improving upon current processes & systems that will deliver efficiencies across the business

Reviewing weekly sales targets and providing constructive feedback to the team on improving productivity.

Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment is required.

Weekly reporting to the senior team.

40 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays

What's needed:

3 years previous management experience

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills are a must

Previous experience working in new businesses/start-ups is a plus

A passion for high standards and pushing goals

Ability to read data and make decisions from it

Excellent customer service skills

Strong operational excellence

Highly systems focused individual with proven track history in implementing change
