About the Role...

Reporting to the Sub-Regional HR Manager, this HR generalist role will be responsible for establishing and managing the internal HR in Norway (Oslo, Drammen, and Stavanger) as well as spend around 50% of their time to support other Nordic office in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

This individual will be responsible for the management of the day to day people activity, providing HR advice and guidance, recruitment and talent management and development. This is both an operational and strategic HR planning role, working closely with local MDs and the sub-regional MD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HR-related decision-making and both day-to-day management and the HR strategic direction with close cooperation with the management;
  • Develop and implement a HR plan that is in line with Group HR's objectives that support the needs of the business and is also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization when they occur;
  • Responsible for all talent management, training and development activities in both offices, in line with Group HR goals; duck
  • Provide management information and reports on data such as turnover, headcount, sickness absence, cost per hire, training hours per person etc;
  • Responsible for salary-related reporting (HRIS reports) in both offices;
  • Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and monitor probationary periods;
  • Responsible for all recruitment activities and for developing and implementing a recruitment plan in line with the target operating model and TMF job bands;
  • Make sure all job descriptions are tracked and new position descriptions are created as and when needed;

  • Ensures all policies and procedures are up to date and legal complaint;
  • Providing MDs and line managers with day to day advice on all HR issues, management of staff, remuneration etc;
  • Analyse van omzetredenen en ontwikkeling van retentieplannen;
  • Ensure payroll and benefits are accurately administered and deadlines are met;
  • At all times act as an effective ambassador for TMF Group HR and for TMF Group.

About you...

We are looking for a hands-on HR generalist, with a proven track record in in all aspects of HR within a professional environment. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of employment law in the Nordic region and ideally come with a professional HR qualification. You will ideally have experience in working for a global company at a regional or country HR level.

We are seeking commercial HR individuals who understand and thrive in a changing and growing organisation and can identify and mitigate risks from a people perspective. As a solutions minded individual you will, you will be comfortable in making decisions and influencing all levels of stakeholders. You will have experience in understanding and applying control and risk and governance frameworks consistently.

Experience with HR systems and MS Office applications is essential. You will know what good looks like from an HR perspective and be motivated to provide ideas for improvement based on past experience. The successful candidate must be numerate and possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English and Norwegian ± other Nordic languages is a plus.

You must be eligible to work and live in Norway.
