Business Development Executive required to work at ADC Technology Training (Ireland) Ltd, based at Unit A1, Centre Point Business Park, Oak Road, Dublin, D12 K248.

The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree, 2 years office experience and 1+ years of sales experience.

Duties will include: Discusses business methods, products or services, and target customer groups with the employer or client to identify marketing requirements, including the provision of Work Placements/Internships for students and identifying the target group of local businesses; Organises work placements by securing new companies, placing students, and arranging monitoring visits, ensuring that the process meets the identified marketing and business needs; Establishes the most effective market research methodology, both quantitative and qualitative, to optimise costs and outcomes.

Prepares proposals outlining the work programs and detailed costs; Collates and interprets findings of market research and presents results to the board of managers and directors, providing insights for strategic decision-making; Discusses necessary changes in design, price, packaging, promotion, etc., with appropriate departments in light of market research findings, suggesting improvements where necessary; Briefs the Sales & Student Care team on business partners’ requirements and monitors the progress of advertising and partnership campaigns, liaising with clients on potential modifications; Supports students while they are in Dublin, resolving any issues that arise, ensuring a positive experience during their placements; Undertakes any other ancillary duties as required by the line manager, contributing to the overall success of the business development initiatives.

Salary: €34,000 per annum.

Hours: 39 per week.
