We are seeking and dynamic and results oriented individual that will proactively assist new business growth in the ever changing logistics and ecommerce industry in Ireland. Job Title: Business Development Executive Responsible to: Managing Director Location: Cork (Nationwide) Salary: DOE Position: Full Time This role profile is a guide to the work you will initially be required to undertake. It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances. It does not form part of your contract of employment. Overall Purpose of the Role We are seeking and dynamic and results oriented individual that will proactively assist new business growth in the ever changing logistics and ecommerce industry in Ireland. The Business Development Executives responsibility is to foster impactful relationships within our target segments, provide solutions to meet customers’ needs. To assist in maximising all opportunities for new business growth, in a supportive and conscientious manner. Key Accountabilities • To work in conjunction with the Managing Director, on our business growth strategy. • Identify, lead, motivate, persuade, and inspire prospect customers. • Source new leads and secure business through pro-active approaches i.e. face to face meetings and/or phone sales meetings. • To carry out an agreed amount of sales calls per calendar month including site visits, training, installation, presentations and reviews. • To build and maintain relationships with key target customers and networks. • Weekly/monthly reporting on individual performance against budget and call targets. • To update and maintain client and prospect database.
