Description:

Our client, a European institution, is looking for a back office analyst who speaks English fluently. This is a temporary contract and a full-time position.

The candidate deals with the preparation, the analysis and the distribution of financial reports to stakeholders.

He manages payment messages in several types of formats, such as MX and MT.

The candidate is responsible for processing fees and claims, proposing and implementing solutions as well as managing intraday positions on cash accounts.

He is a support regarding the daily reconciliation tasks related to cash and securities balances and movements.

The candidate defines and improves procedures and operations. Guiding and supporting the resolution of issues in coordination and collaboration with all stakeholders are also part of his task.

The ideal candidate has a university degree, preferably in a business-related field: Economics, Finance, Accounting, Sciences, Law, etc.

The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a financial services / banking environment and ideally as a back-office analyst.

The person should preferably have banking and financial services' industry knowledge, IT competencies, analytical skills, appetite to stay abreast of market developments and regulatory changes, project management skills, ability to meet deadlines, knowledge of best banking practices.

The perfect candidate has previous experience in back-office operations, preferably in cash management and/or payment functions.

He has a broad knowledge of the financial sector in general and good Treasury product and settlement knowledge, as well as in-depth knowledge of frequently used SWIFT message types.

Experience with the Back Office applications (like Finance Kit, Accurate, SWIFT Alliance) is an asset.
