Do you want to join a global Finance team supporting renewable energy infrastructure investments globally for one of the world’s largest and leading renewable energy funds?  

Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Company (CISC) – working exclusively for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is looking for an experienced Associate Accountant to join the Finance, Tax and Risk Management Team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The role

Your main responsibility will be daily accounting activities as well as performing monthly, quarterly and year-end closing for assigned areas of responsibility in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines. You will report to our Finance Manager, and you will work closely with the entire Finance, Tax and Risk Management team. You will join a team of 5 dedicated and ambitious colleagues: 3 Junior Accountants and 2 External Consultants and you will quickly become a part of a fantastic environment and a position where no 2 days are the same.

Responsibilities will further consist of:

Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions

Performing accounting activities for assigned areas monthly, quarterly and year-end

Financial reconciliation of accounts

Collaboration with external auditors

Optimization of tasks and processes

Ad hoc tasks

The candidate

We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in accounting and finance within a similar position. You should be willing to do routine work, but you must also show flexibility and adaptability when a change in priorities occurs.

Furthermore, we look for the following in a candidate:

Good analytical skills and someone who puts an effort in delivering timely and accurately in high quality

You have a thorough and structured approach to your work

Fluent in English both verbal and writing, fluent in Danish is an advantage  

Experience from a Funding environment is also an advantage
