Home Trends is a family-owned business specializing in furniture and mattresses, selling nationwide both online and in-store. We are passionate about providing our customers with high-quality products and an exceptional shopping experience.

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the Store Manager in driving sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers.

Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers answering any queries they may have .

Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and drive business performance.

Maintain inventory control and stock levels, ensuring product availability and organization.

Ensure that the store meets visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment.

Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and care, ensuring a memorable experience.

Assist in planning and executing promotional events and marketing strategies to drive store traffic and increase sales.

Monitor and analyse sales performance to identify areas for growth and improvement.

Implement store policies and procedures to maintain consistent operations.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain product quality and availability.

Liaise with the Web Team updating team with new products or prices

Manage cash handling and financial transactions accurately.

Assist in marketing efforts, including managing social media to enhance brand awareness.

Qualifications/Skills:

Degree preferred but not essential as level of work experience will be taken into account.

Proven experience in retail, with a strong emphasis on furniture or home goods sales preferred.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.

Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office to include word and excel, Google Drive.

Experience in marketing and social media
