Post Summary

This is a 5-year tenure track, full time contract post as Assistant Professor in Science and Society Education. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, research, and supervision duties across the School, and will have an active programme of research in science, transdisciplinary learning and global citizenship education that will contribute to the international profile of the School. The post of Assistant Professor in Science and Society Education is essential for the continued development of teaching, research, and supervision within the growing field of STEM and transdisciplinary education. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the PME in Science Education. They will teach and supervise on this course and will contribute to the School’s postgraduate taught and research programmes including supervision at masters and doctoral levels. The post-holder will undertake research, knowledge generation and dissemination in the field of science, transdisciplinary learning and global citizenship education.
