Job Title: Assistant Manager

Location:  CLANBRASSIL ST, DUNDALK

Reports to:  Store Manager

Overview:

Join our well known chain of household shops as an Assistant Manager. We're seeking a dynamic, motivated individual with a passion for retail and customer service. This role offers significant potential for career growth within our expanding company.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met and exceed customer expectations.

Team Leadership: Assist in leading, mentoring, and training store staff. Foster a positive and productive team environment.

Operations Management: Support the Store Manager in daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash management, and inventory control.

Sales Performance: Drive sales through excellent service, strong product knowledge, and effective merchandising.

Loss Prevention: Implement and maintain loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage and ensure a secure shopping environment.

Problem Solving:  Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly. Handle staffing challenges and operational hurdles efficiently.

Marketing:  Assist in executing local marketing initiatives and promotions to boost store traffic and sales.

Qualifications:

Experience:  Minimum of 2 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.

Skills:

  - Strong leadership and team management skills.

  - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  - Solid organizational and multitasking skills.

  - Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
