THE COMPANY Our client specialise in the manufacture and distribution of decorative lighting.

They sell products to worldwide customers in more than 60 countries.

They have their own sales distribution operations in 3 countries, managing more than 17,000 square metres, (185,000 square feet) of warehousing and production space and a team of more than 100 committed staff.

Home & Field Based - covering Surrey, (Outside the M25), Kent, East & West Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset, Avon, Devon, Cornwall and South Wales + Fully Expensed Company Car, Phone, Computer POSITION SUMMARY: Our client is a highly respected manufacturer and distributor of quality decorative lighting solutions.

With plans for significant growth, they are now looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their highly-skilled team.

You will receive full product training to ensure you have the knowledge you need to succeed and maximise profitability within a promising territory.

JOB ROLE: As the Area Sales Manager, you will sell our client’s decorative lighting solutions to customers within the retail, interior design, electrical wholesale and hospitality sectors.

In this key role, you will spend four days a week visiting customers/potential customers and one day per week is reserved for appointment booking/administration.

Working as one of four Area Sales Managers, you will: • Promote the benefits of our client’s lighting products • Increase business turnover and profitability within your territory • Identify new business opportunities • Deliver a high quality service to existing customers • Build strong, professional relationships with business owners and managers • Occasionally participate in trade shows To be considered, you will need: • At least three years’ field sales experience • A full, valid driving licence As the Area Sales Manager, you’ll be an ambitious, motivated and results-driven individual looking for the opportunity to prove yourself as part of a talented team.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are also key.

Previous experience of selling home-related products into the retail, interiors, electrical wholesale or hospitality sectors would be beneficial to your application.
