Analyst - Fund and Fee setup. Luxemburgo

Summary

Under direct supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for the initial set up and maintenance of new Funds. The role will require involve strong communication between various internal departments while offering the opportunity to learn and upskill within a funds environment.

Major Duties

1. Setup and maintenance in Fund data base

2. Cooperation related with the launch of new investment products

3. Setup of master data and calendar data in all relevant systems

4. Setup of interfaces with the custodian, portfolio manager and sponsor

5. Cooperation related with fund mergers

6. Cooperation related with fund liquidations

7. Cooperation related to other events such as transfers in kind, changes of administrators, changes of portfolio managers, changes of custodian banks, etc.

8. Organization and coordination of meetings

9. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines

10. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts

11. Works effectively as a team member but also independently

Knowledge/Skills

    Ability to work under time pressure.

    Good organization and coordination skills.

    Good oral and written communication skills are required.

    Work experience in banking, preferably in asset management in the area of fund management.

    Analytical and problem solving skills are required.

    Project management experience a plus

Experience Required

• An Apprenticeship or equivalent education or some relevant work experience is preferred.

• Fluent communication skills in German and good communication skills in English

• Willingness to travel within Europe if necessary (Luxembourg, UK, Ireland & Poland)
