Afternoon Childcare Worker CSP. Dublin. Irlanda

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining hygiene in our busy childcare service. The ideal person will be punctual, reliable, flexible and have:

    A good understanding of safety practices related to housekeeping and food preparation.                                  

    Understanding of hazards and ability to understand and follow safety precautions and directions.

    Proven experience preparing and serving meals using HACCP is preferred.

    Experience operating housekeeping equipment and maintaining a cleaning programme.

    Record keeping is a large part of the role; candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English and have necessary communication, literacy and record keeping skills.

    Candidates must have an interest in working with children and be able to engage with children.

    Must be flexible, self-motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a team.

    No formal qualification is required; however, candidates must be willing to undertake relevant training.

    This position is funded under the Community Services Programme (CSP), applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for programme made available on application or on www.pobal.ie.

    Applicants must supply two suitable written references if selected for interview.

    Must be in a position to submit their details for Garda Vetting. International vetting/police clearance is also required if a candidate has lived outside Ireland for 6 months or more.
