We are now looking for an After Sales Engineer to join our team at ABB Oy, IEC LV Motors in Vaasa. In this role you you will responsibly handling warranty and technical support cases together with our customers and global sales. You will work in close contact with our customers in continuous collaboration with our factory and join our compact team of high technical experts with a collaborative approach to work. The position will also offer international opportunities for travel to visit our customer sites. Estimated travel annually 10-20 days.

Your responsibilities

- Handling warranty and technical support cases together with customers and our global sales organization

- Continuously communicating with customers and internal sales unit

- Consulting on customer sites as an expert and resolving issues on location

- Creating technical reports, documentation, and statements

- Conducting root cause analysis (RCAs)

- Collaboration with electrical engineers, the factory organization, global sales and other stakeholders

Your background

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

- Previous experience and knowledge on working with low voltage motors

- A collaborative, customer centric solution-focused approach to work

- Good problems solving skills and the ability to make independent decisions in challenging situations

- Excellent communication and influencing skills

- Fluency in Finnish and good English, both written and spoken

- Familiarity with using engineering tools, such as Salesforce

- Knowledge of Lean methodologies is seen as a benefit

- Other language skills are seen as a benefit
