The Novo Nordisk Foundation is seeking an Administrator to join the Executive Office Team.

As an Administrator in the Executive Office, you will work closely with the Deputy CEO and members of the Management Team in the Novo Nordisk Foundation as well as an extensive set of stakeholders in the Novo Nordisk Foundation and with various partner-organisations on executing the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s strategy.


The Job

Working closely with the Deputy CEO and the Management Team, the Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Deputy CEO in all aspects of daily work, including handling of all administrative functions and contact to internal and external stakeholders

  • Organizing Management Team meetings, including ensuring agendas, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings, materials and deliveries

  • Assisting with preparing reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents as well as powerpoint presentations

  • Preparing agendas and making arrangements for Committees, Board and other internal and external meetings/workshops

  • Proofreading Board materials, agreements and other materials for external use

  • Translating texts from English to Danish and vice versa

  • Cooperating with other members of the Executive Office in planning seminars, symposiums, events for the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s stakeholders as well as professional and social seminars and events for employees

  • Supporting and contributing to further development and building of a well-functioning Executive Office



Professional Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate with: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or similar in business language, administration, communication or similar

  • Experience from a role as PA or Executive Assistant from an executive environment

  • Skills in management of administration processes and calendar management

  • Ability to manage several projects and diverse tasks simultaneously

  • Flair for numbers and accounting and has an understanding of budgeting and accounting principles

  • Ability to plan and meet deadlines in a sometimes irregular schedule

  • Ability to execute decisions efficiently through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both in writing and verbally
