We are looking for people who are interested in working in mental health with a genuine desire to make a difference. Bedfordshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Services provided by ELFT is advertising a full time 37.5 hours per week Administration Assistant post, to support Services for People who have a Learning Disability SPLD, Twinwoods, Bedfordshire. You will have responsibility for providing administrative support without direct supervision to designated areas. You will also be expected to cover members of the team when required. You will be responsible for the day to day completion of processes and procedures ensuring an efficient and effective administrative/secretarial/reception provision to your designated area, along with providing and excellent and proficient service in partnership with local clinical and management teams, including line management. You may be asked to provide suitable cover arrangements for times of scheduled and unscheduled absence. You will provide administrative support to SPLD to support the best possible care to the patients. SPLD aims to provide high quality specialist healthcare expertise for people who have a learning disability and/or Autism. SPLD works in partnership with service users, carers and other agencies and professionals to ensure that services provided meet individual needs. SPLD also supports individuals to access mainstream services through collaborative working and education of colleagues. You will need to show experience of working in an effective and efficient administrative and clerical service, demonstrate the ability to devise new systems, work naturally with managers and have a very positive attitude to work in what can be a challenging environment. You will be the point of contract for patients for all matters relating to their pathway or care by being.
