Accountant (m/f). Luxemburgo

About the role

We are looking to hire a skilled Accountant, to join our Finance team in Luxembourg, where youwill report to the Head of Accounting.

In this role you will get the chance to to work with the Banking Circle group companies andprovide a high standard of services in key financial accounting operational functions and supportin auditing financial documents and procedures.

What you will be doing

Keep accurate records for all daily transactions

Daily bookkeeping and reconciliations

Control of invoices of different entities

Staff management expenses

Intercompany SLA invoicing, booking and follow-up

Monthly accruals booking and follow-up

Record and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable

Maintain fixed assets

Handle VAT

Salary booking and reconciliations

Reconcilation of the IT systems

Month-end closing tasks

Consolidation of intercompany accounts

Assist with external and internal audits

What we are looking for

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have at least 5 years' experience preferably within the banking/financial services industry, together with holding a master's or bachelor's degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance or equivalent. You have good knowledge with IFRS and LUX GAAP frameworks and best practices.

As a person you are proactive, organized and solution oriented. You aim to be part of a dynamic team where interaction and collaboration are presents. Good written communication skills and a team player attitude is considered as key. Possession of strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify ways to improve efficiency are likewise highly valued qualifications for

this role. Additionally, a flexibility in attitude and working hours is necessary for this position due to a fast-paced working environment with a high rate of changes.

As Banking Circle is an international company it´s a requirement, that you are fluent in English both verbally and in writing. If you master other relevant languages, it will be an asset
