Do you have a passion for culinary excellence and a drive to lead?

Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of a designated kitchen section, while maintaining our renowned standards for quality and guest satisfaction.

About the Role:

Lead a specific kitchen section  and oversee all aspects of its operation.

Develop and maintain exceptional culinary skills, consistently delivering high-quality dishes with meticulous attention to detail and presentation.

Train, mentor, and motivate junior chefs, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized section.

Participate in menu development, offering creative input and maintaining consistency with recipe standards.

Maintain accurate stock control, minimizing waste and cost while ensuring efficient use of ingredients.

Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, following instructions and providing feedback.

Effectively communicate with colleagues across all kitchen stations to ensure seamless service.

We are looking for a candidate with:

A minimum of 2-4 years experience as a Chef de Partie or similar supervisory role in a high-quality kitchen environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train junior chefs.

In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and safe food handling practices.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues.

A passion for food and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.

Proficiency in working with kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean and hygienic work area.
