I am currently recruiting for a newly created sales trader position for an international bank based in Monaco. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Sales Trading and become an integral part of a 17-member team.

Trading Execution:

• Execute buy and sell orders on FX, equities, bonds, and derivatives markets.

• Master various algorithms and methodologies to ensure best execution in all circumstances.

• Efficiently use different trading platforms for each asset class.

• Provide quotation offers for buying and selling based on management imperatives and imposed limits.

• Monitor market indicators and macro/microeconomic data to identify trends and anticipate possible developments.

• Control executed operations and ensure risk monitoring.

• Generate activity reports for the Head of Investment & Credit Services.

• Create and update decision-making statistics.

• Monitor internal group issuances.

Trading Advisory:

• Develop tactical and strategic trading ideas for clients with direct access, advisory mandates, or for bankers, aiming to drive investment proposals for securities and FX.

• Present ideas and important market elements during morning meetings.

• Articulate a market view to clients and understand their long-term financial situation.

• Ability to suggest arbitrages opportunistically.

• Highlight research to guide investment decisions and actively propose Top Picks ideas.

• Provide advice considering client profiles, product-related risks, and compliance with suitability and appropriateness rules.

• Contribute to business development with bankers.

Profile:

• Master's degree in Banking/Finance (specialization in finance, statistics, applied mathematics, modeling) - Possession of AMAF certification or equivalent.

• Significant experience in a similar position is appreciated, with expertise in FX and rates.

• Good knowledge of financial products, fixed income, equities, derivatives, structured products, UCITS, commodities, forex.

• Good understanding of financial markets and a grasp of economic and geopolitical culture.

• Proficiency in English; a second language is a plus.

• Mastery of Microsoft Office and Bloomberg tools.
