Micromachining application engineer (M&W). Bern / Berne

To strengthen our team, we are looking to recruit a :  

Micromachining application engineer

Your activity:

Reporting to our Micromachining Department, you will responsible for :

Carrying out pre-sales tests and internal development tests

Preparing equipment and machines for pre-sales testing

Providing internal and external technological support (customers,Posalux branches, agents)

Monitoring technological developments and prosing product improvements

Reading, analysing and interpreting protocols and technical drawings(feasibility studies)

Improving machining processes and seeking out new ideas

Maintaining in-house machines and measuring equipment

Structuring tests and drawing up reports with analysis and summary

Commissioning customer machines for acceptance and providing support

Providing support to customers in production and at the development stage

Working on customer sites and supporting the after-sales service if necessary

Your profile:

HES or EPF engineering degree in micromechanics / electrical engineering

ISO programming and numerical controls skills

Understanding of the mechanical, electrical and software fields and the interfaces linking them

Fluency in French and very good knowledge of English

Strive for continuous optimisation and intellectual curiosity

Good ability to anticipate customer needs

Autonomous, proactive and dynamic, with good analytical and organisational skills

Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20-30%)
