Job description

Duties & Responsabilities : As an IT architect / IT project lead, you design and develop the information systems for the HSE related projects.

• You control the project from start to finish (roll out and after care, further evolutions) respecting the quality, timing and scope constraints

• You analyse the existing information systems and transform business expectations into IT solutions for which you work closely with the business (product owner, business key user)

• You choose the tools & technologies (aligned with company strategy)

• You select and work together with the implementation partner

• You ensure a smooth transition into business-as-usual mode in which you steer the service delivery requirements.

Being the IT project leader for the environmental product data collection related projects (CO2, etc), you share the responsibility of success with the business project owner.

• The definition of the project being started, you will check the robustness of the definition of the project deliverables with regards to the current and potential needs for environmental product data.

• You will support the IT business owner in the interactions with the mills and with the transversal teams.

• You ensure the validity of the outputs of the information system for environmental data collection by supporting ins regular audit of the collection of the base data by the different data suppliers, or by consistency checks with consolidated values established and reported for other purposes.

Education :

• Master's degree in IT or Engineering

Skills & Specifications :

• You have strong analytical skills and a healthy sense of criticism    

• You are autonomous, flexible, organized and rigorous

• You have strong communication and listening skills. You love information sharing and bringing other people on another level by guiding/coaching

• You have solid project and change management skills.

The following elements are a plus:

• Broad knowledge of our products and of their production processes, deeper in the ironmaking and steelmaking area, a broad knowledge of environmental reporting and a deep understanding of the CO2 and recycled content accounting.

• Insights or deeper knowledge of :

o Azure Data technologies (Data lake, DataBricks, PowerBI)

o Microsoft Sustainability Manager

Work experience requirements :

• Master's degree in IT or Engineering

Languages :  

• You are fluent in English. Any other European language such as French, Dutch or Spanish is appreciated
