Job description

Duties & Responsabilities : The IT & Business Analyst New Pricing will be integrated within the New Pricing & Data Science domain in charge of building a new pricing application, including ML models for pricing, UI to manage price conditions, price lists, transport costs and more. We are doing so with a target microservice architecture in the Cloud.

To do so, we need to reinforce our team with an analyst capable of translating business needs into technical requirements. Someone experienced with APIs, eager to work with business, data scientists, and other engineers (QA, SW, Ops) to succeed delivering the application.

• His/her main missions are:

• Be content-oriented: capture the Business needs, support the Business to define their needs of evolution of IT systems (small evolutions / projects)

• Manage Information Systems (writing Business specifications, coordinating projects, ensuring roll out, etc.) based on the requirements formulated by the Business.

• Drive the evolution of existing Information Systems, again based on the Business requirements but also in agreement with the IS/IT Strategic Plan and IT Standards.

• Coordinate IT developments:

• Contribute to the overall design of the application. Functional & technical analysis

• Alignment with IT architecture experts

• Mix of development/coordination of development resources of our external partner

• Value technical excellence of all solutions. Quality guarantor of the developments

• Design and document test scenarios for the features developed. Perform (Business & IT) testing

• Provide the necessary support to the users through the "User support" organization.

Education :

• Master's degree in IT or Engineering.

Skills & Specifications :

• Your analytical skills allow you to transform complex business/technical needs into optimized IT requirements.

• You have strong technical background and strong experience as Software Engineer working with multi-component applications in an Agile context that allow you to challenge the architecture and technical solutions, to participate to the development of the solution if necessary, and you have the interest and the capacity to manage technical oriented projects.

• Processes and IT Systems “minded”

• Good understanding of Java ecosystem, relational databases, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is a plus). Experience with API management/ gateways solutions, Kubernetes and Containerization, Python would be a plus.

• Experience in maintaining, developing, and deploying production grade software

• Experience working with API documentation tools and the OpenAPI specification

• Team player, stakeholder-oriented, ability to understand and adapt to a complex and changing environment

• Ability to work with extended teams located in various sites in Europe and in offshore context.

Work experience requirements :

• Relevant experience in a similar function of interface between Business & IT delivery organization (3-5 years)

Languages :  

• Fluent in English. Any other European language is appreciated.
