Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. West. Irlanda

We have a fantastic new vacancy for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manger in the excellent Claregalway Hotel.

The objective of the role is to assist our Hotel Manager in the management and the day to day running of our amazing Food and Beverage Team

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Manage the day to day operation of the Food & Beverage Operation, leading by example, to achieve the highest level of Guest satisfaction

    Assist the General Manager in special projects & tasks.

    Makes recommendations in relation to Food and Beverage operations in order to achieve better service standards.

    Undertake assigned responsibilities for Food, Bar or Banquet service.

    Carry out Department Stock takes.

    Makes recommendations with respect to Food and Beverage promotions in order to achieve sales objectives.

    Input & focus on all areas of F&B, bar, restaurant & conference.

    Enforcing food & beverage cash handling procedures.

    Assisting the General Manager with the F&B HR function.

    Participate when menus are reviewed to remain competitive with current competition.

    Monitoring levels of non-consumables and replenishing as necessary.

    Conducts F&B interviews, recruiting and inducting.

    Communicates fire, emergency and health and safety procedures in compliance to Duty Manager Manual.

    Ensures all staff comply with the hotels timekeeping systems.

    Rostering for all F&B departments..    Investigates monthly beverage variances in conjunction with the General Manager.

    To report for duty on time and in the correctly presented uniform..    To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests.

    To attend all training courses as notified to you.

    To ensure that the company policies, the vision statement and departmental objectives are followed and utilised at all times.

    To adhere to hotel fire, emergency and security procedures..    Perform other duties as required.

Recognised relevant third-level qualification in hospitality

       management and 5 years’ experience required for this

        role.
