Workshop Plant Engineer Benefits Up to £27,000 DOE Monday - Friday 31 days holiday including bank holidays The Company We are working in partnership with a national Heavy Plant Hire company who due to expansion are now seeking to expand their team in based near Milton Keynes. Operating on a nationwide scale, they provide a one stop shop in the very latest hi-tech plant equipment, as well as first rate customer service. The Candidate The ideal candidate will have experience servicing and repairing heavy construction plant equipment, hydraulics, mechanical and pneumatic. The position requires someone who is self-motivated, with a flexible working attitude. You must possess a strong work ethic and have a good understanding of safety procedures. The Role Our client is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Heavy Plant engineer to be workshop based. You will be required to carry out service maintenance and repairs on heavy plant machinery on as part of your duties. Responsibilities; • Working on behalf of a major company servicing and repairing all types of heavy plant machinery and diagnosing faults • To manage administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately and on time. • Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service. • Maintain Health and Safety to Company standards. • Work as part of a team in a workshop environment Skills/Requirements; • Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic Aptitude. • Own tools (specialist tools provided) • Diagnostic skills. • Excellent communication skills. • Driving licence. • Health and Safety awareness. • NVQ Level 2 in plant maintenance or equivalent The ideal candidate will be located in either of the following areas Bicester, Oxford, Witney, Luton, Aylesbury, Welwyn Garden City, Amersham, Bicester, Brackley, Rushden,Towcester, Roade, Tring, Chesham, Letchworth, St Albans, Watford, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Hitchin, Stevenage, Northampton, Bedford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kettering and surrounding areas.
