You are part of the management team which reports directly to the site manager. You will  be the direct manager of the complete human resources team. You establish our client as the preferred employer by attracting those who share the company values, ensuring a systematic development for all co-workers, inspiring the co-workers to perform and remain within the company. YOUR ASSIGNMENT - You translate the national strategy in a store business plan in collaboration with the other management team members. In this way you contribute to position the store as the first choice in your local market. - You inspire, motivate and engage your team fully in reaching goals and generating growth and long-term profitability. - You secure an up-to-date succession process and plan by influencing the managers in taking the lead with special focus on talents and high-performing potentials. - You are a good example of leadership and you are living the values within and outside the company. Together with the unit managers you help to safeguard and promote the company culture. - You maintain a good relationship with our social partners and ensure that all areas in the unit work with the local policies, procedures and laws. - You explain goals, set expectations, provide clear direction and give open and honest feedback also in the case of poor performance. - You empower your managers by delegating responsibility to help them grow and develop, according to their individual ability and experience.

- You have several years of leadership experience and you enjoy working with people. - You have experience of setting and implementing action plans & budgets and following up goals. - You can support managers in resolving performance and other people management issues. - You have a good knowledge of the local markets, the labour conditions and the social legislation. - You challenge your department managers and yourself to exceed customer expectations. - You are modest, open and honest in your collaboration with others. - You speak and write fluently in (one of) the regional languages of the store (French/Dutch) and in English. - You are willing to take a day off during the week to work on Saturdays.
