About the department You will join the Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) Logistics and Quality Control (QC) department in Hillerød, where 60 colleagues look forward to welcoming you. We ensure the supply of a large number of components produced world-wide to our global footprint of Novo Nordisk factories and are responsible for the supplier’s ability to deliver on time and in full. The position Your main focus is to manage the supply chain on contract production of components to the devices NordiLet®, NordiFlex® and Intron A® at our supplier in Germany. On a daily basis, you will engage in close coordination with several external as well as internal stakeholders such as Quality, Process Support, and Logistics, where you will act as the anchoring point and ensure that the right activities are prioritised. You will be the point of entry between Novo Nordisk and the supplier and will be responsible for the coordination of operational, tactical and strategic actions in collaboration with the Project Office, Strategic Sourcing, and other Novo Nordisk units who are also customers to the supplier. You will play an important role in the implementation of strategic initiatives that concern the device and the supplier. The overall objective for the Supply Manager is to ensure stable and reliable supply while continuously improving the performance and collaboration. You will challenge us in the way we do things and through innovative ideas you assist in improving our processes in order to work smarter and secure the best possible result for Novo Nordisk. Main activities are driven out of DMS in Hillerød, however, frequent travelling to Germany must be expected and you can look forward to approximately +20 travel days per year. Qualifications You hold an MSc (SCM), Engineering degree or similar and have 2-4 years of relevant experience with managing supply chain and production. A solid business understanding and experience with KPI setting, board meetings, and the basic LEAN toolbox usage and experience from project management would be an advantage. You have a strong drive with the ability to prioritise among your tasks and plan ahead. It motivates you to continuously look for ways to improve and optimise how we manage our supply chain. As you will be dealing with a lot of different stakeholders, internal as well as external, it is essential that you enjoy creating and maintaining relations with all levels of the organisation and that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are also skilled at presenting complex information and decision material in a simple and clear manner. You have proficiency in both written and spoken English.
