Danfoss Power Solutions – Work Function Division is Engineering Tomorrows’ advanced steering solution, and we are now seeking a new qualified team member. Join a successful and extremely well developing division You become part of a global sales team, consisting of dedicated and enthusiastic professionals ensuring the introduction of our advanced steering solutions. Together you are responsible for developing steering sales for mobile applications worldwide. Place of work is in Nordborg and the job entails up to 60 travelling days per year (EU mainly, but not only). Technical and commercial support As Steering Sales Development Manager, your focus will mainly be on developing the sales of steering solutions for OEM customers within the off-highway market. Your main task will be to develop sales by supporting and providing input to Sales & Marketing on technical and commercial aspects to create optimal customer proposals for steering solutions. Your key responsibilities will be to: • Develop sales of Steering’s business with the Sales Development Managers (SDM) team and Sales & Marketing •Coordinate Steering’s sales activities to meet the sales targets with the SDMs team •Identify growth areas and key opportunities and report progresses to WF management •Partner up with product portfolio management for Steering’s growth •Work out sales plans and targets with Sales & Marketing •Define, execute and track sales initiatives and activities in alignment with Sales & Marketing and WF Sales Management •Focus on agreed target customer’s applications and markets together with account and distributor managers •Support the implementation of strategies and initiatives •Define and execute pricing strategies to ensure profitable growth Proactive engineer with a commercial mind-set and solid skills within hydraulics You have a degree within mechatronics or electronics – alternatively you have a proven track record working within the field of electronic engineering, mechatronics and/or hydraulics. You have commercial and/or technical experience working closely with customers within the off-road mobile machine market. It will be a plus if you have technical expertise in steering and electro hydraulic related applications (or hydraulics in general). On a more personal level, you are a good communicator and team player, who is able to work with international teams in a global matrix sales organization. Finally, you possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English and preferably German.
