For the Global Supplier Quality department in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Quality Process Engineer to follow up on our manufacturing processes at Tower Manufactures (TMs) in EMEA. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the products produced are reflecting Siemens Gamesa’s specifications, by performing a thorough process inspection at the Tower Manufacturing premises. You will become a part of a team which currently consists of 10 employees, operating on a global level. Out of these 10 employees, three are located in APAC, two in AM and five in EMEA. The position in question is for the EMEA region only. The ideal candidate holds a technical or engineering background combined with experience from the wind industry or similar. You have gained experience in quality related work from an international production company. We expect that this position will require approximately 100 travel days per year. What are my responsibilities? • Ensuring that the product is manufactured in accordance with Siemens Gamesa’s specifications • Verifying the manufacturing processes used by the TMs’, such as: Incoming Material Inspection, Welding, Surface Treatment, Assembly and Final Release, etc. • Tracking the creation/progression of non-conformance reports (NCRs) in both Siemens Gamesa’s and the TMs’ own systems • Taking action on KPI data reported by the TMs • Conducting weekly meetings with the Quality Department at the TMs • Taking initiative to work with the TMs towards improving and optimizing their manufacturing processes • Supporting our Project Management in various tasks What do I need to qualify for this job? • You hold a technical or engineering background combined with knowledge in welding techniques e.g. qualified International Welding Specialist (IWS), FROSIO, EN 473 Visual Testing lv. II • You are knowledgeable about ISO 9001, ISO3834, ISO 8501, ISO 5817 • You hold excellent IT skills and are an advanced user of Microsoft Office and SAP • You possess great English skills both orally and in writing • You are comfortable with dealing with a wide variety of tasks at the same time. Moreover, task prioritization is a key skill for this role • You have a proactive approach to your work and you are self-driven with a strong sense of initiative/ability to work with autonomy • As a person you are open-minded and outgoing with an intercultural mindset • You are a people-person who enjoys meeting new people and networking comes natural to you In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
