Qualifications Design lead - manage product development projects Would you like to be part of delivering pioneering and green power solutions? Here, you will lead a team of highly skilled engineers who collaborate across borders to create parts, products and solutions. Ensure successful projects and happy participants We are in the process of developing a new platform for our solutions, which will involve several different kinds of products based on platform components. You will be responsible for managing the design and product development projects, which involves both brand new designs as well as adaptation of existing interfaces. Thus, the majority of your time will be spent on project management including tasks, workload, planning and expenses. Your project teams will be made up by colleagues from your own team as well as colleagues across the organisation – and in close collaboration with our Shanghai team. However, while running the projects, you are also responsible for the people management of your team, making sure development and innovative thinking stays top-of-mind. On a day-to-day basis, you: •Drive the execution of the technical specifications and definitions •Collaborate with e.g. Marketing and system architects to create parts, product and solutions that meet the requirements of cost, quality and lead-time •Enable product performance and robustness through simulation, prototypes and testing, using your understanding of end-to-end product development to help your team deliver A passionate leader to execute product development You will focus on the electro-mechanical development of strategically important parts, products and solutions. Therefore, we imagine that you: •Exhibit solid knowledge of electro-mechanical development and processes, maybe from working as a developer or from a similar leading position •Have experience as project design lead or project manager with a high success rate on delivering on-time •Have some years of experience as a people manager, and you know how to make both projects and employees shine •Can travel a few weeks a year and you speak and write English effortlessly In short: As a person – and as a leader – you are an open, passionate and straightforward team player with the cultural understanding and communicative talent to collaborate across borders, functions and seniority.
