Quality in state-of-the-art medical devices Product Quality is a part of Oticon’s Quality organisation. The team includes 60 engineers and technicians with various areas of specialization and various fields of work, including quality assurance of existing and future products, risk management and product quality verification. As Product Quality Manager, Medical Devices, you will be part of product development teams developing state-of-the-art medical device including cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids. You will also be part of the Product Quality Manager team which is pt. counting eight persons. The key responsibility is to plan and drive project-related activities to ensure that new products fulfil expectations for high quality and regulatory compliance. You will be supported by a large team of engineers and technicians specialized in various areas including requirement management, reliability testing, root cause analysis and supplier quality management. The work is supported by state-of-the-art methods, equipment and laboratories, and we are always focusing on professional and personal development of our employees. You can look forward to a wide range of challenging tasks, and in short, you will be involved in: •Planning and execution of activities related to quality assurance of products being developed •Performing risk analyses regarding product quality for existing and future products •Designing testplans •Facilitation of reliability- and robustness test of medical instruments •Ensuring that products fulfil regulatory requirements Are you the right candidate? You probably have a technical degree at B.Sc. or M.Sc. level. In addition, you have solid experience in a quality role, preferably from a technical industry with both B2C and B2B focus, e.g. within Electronics Devices, Medical Devices or similar. Your professional behavior is characterized by a constant focus on the entire value chain and not just on your own deliveries. We assume that the candidate has experience in more of following areas •Reliability Engineering •Product Quality •Reliability Testing (climatic, mechanical, electrical, chemical) •Production Process Quality/Quality Control •Medical Device Development •Regulatory Requirements for Medical Devices e.g. ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 •Technical project management •Technical understanding in mechanics, electronics, material science and production technology •Technical understanding in basic statistics and reliability Do you want to join the team?
