Area Manager Ref: OP/23 Kirklees and Barnsley 37.5 hours per week £37,700 per annum pro rata plus Essential Car User Allowance St. Anne’s Community Services is an award winning organisation providing wide-ranging care services across the North of England. Our services across Kirklees provide a wide range of services to People with Learning Disabilities with varying levels of care and support. Services include Nursing services, Respite, day care and Residential. There is also a Nursing respite service in Barnsley that you will oversee. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Manager. The successful candidate will oversee 6 First Line Managers ensuring they are recruited, developed, supported and managed in an appropriate and professional manner. You will take active steps to minimise staff vacancies and voids within your services, ensure any contract and CQC requirements in respect of your service are fully complied with and establish and maintain links with other organisations and agencies whose roles may impact upon your service area. You will ensure continuous quality improvement across your services and ensure efficiency targets set by local councils and St Anne's reductions in agency use are met. The successful candidate must have previous management experience in support/care work, as well as experience in the related field of the post description above. Candidates will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, motivational and organisational skills as well as a commitment for developing person centred approaches.
