We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Test Engineer with a solid design control understanding to shape the design verification testing for the world’s best medical devices. If you find this challenge exciting and inspiring, you may be our new colleague. About the department Design Verification is part of Device Research & Development located in Hillerød. We are a team of 14 highly competent and innovative engineers and technicians with a shared passion of ensuring effective design control processes and high quality device testing to the benefit of our patients. The position As Test Engineer, you are planning and carrying out the test and design verification activities for the device development projects. You will work closely together with the team of Test Engineers, Laboratory Technicians, Equipment Experts and Subject Matter Experts. Together you will develop test methods and the subsequent test execution, data analysis and documentation of tests. Your working day will be very dynamic, and you will interact with a large range of stakeholder including among others the device projects and quality assurance. We are constantly improving our processes and developing our competences. You will therefore have the opportunity to develop and improve our support to device projects. Your responsibilities as Test strategy, planning, execution and reporting the test activities; Review of Product Specifications ensuring testability, compliance with standards and high level of quality. Coordination of outsourced test activities; Test method development; Handling of test observations and participation in failure investigation together with subject matter experts. Furthermore you will drive improvement projects to improve our test processes and methods ensuring a high level of compliance and efficient test execution. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar. You are result oriented and have a systematic approach. You are a strong team player and master the ability to handle and solve numerous tasks simultaneously. If you have experience from an innovative R&D environment and have gained insight within mechanical testing, experiments, data analysis and good documentation practice, it will be a major plus. Either way, you are a quick learner and have a passion for learning new technologies and processes. Navigating among multiple stakeholders in an international and dynamic environment with changing priorities requires solid communication and good interpersonal skill.
