Your tasks

• Lead the development and execution of a strategic sales and partnership plan focused on news media both broadcaster and digital, aligning it with the company's overall business goals.

• Amplify ENEX's existing range of commercial media services to corporate clients, institutions, and governments.

• Lead and coordinate ENEX's applications and relationships with institutional funding sources like the European Union.

• Conduct a thorough analysis of the media landscape to identify sales and partnership opportunities and develop a clear project roadmap.

• Lead the sales process for media-related project components, overseeing pricing strategy and negotiations to maximize revenue opportunities.

• Manage and analyze project data and metrics to track progress, optimize sales and partnership strategies, and ensure project goals are met.

• Develop and deliver impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for the project.

• Optimize ENEX's existing subscription services with partners including additional services.

Your profile

• Substantial experience in broadcast or digital media sector

• Preferably experience in a senior sales leadership role within the media industry, with a proven track record of success in leading strategic sales initiatives and achieving revenue targets.

• Deep understanding of the media environment, encompassing traditional and digital media platforms, emerging technologies, and content consumption trends.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and mentor a project team across various departments.

• Experience application procedures for EU and other media funding is highly valued.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Data-driven decision-making skills and experience with project management methodologies.

• Adaptability and agility to navigate a fast-paced project environment.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.

• ENEX's Headquarters is in Luxembourg but potentially this role could be located here, elsewhere in the EU or other countries.

• Willingness to travel.

• We are looking for a self-starter who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and explore new approaches to sales.

• Strong ability to communicate particularly in English with other language skills a strong advantage.

Your team

The Director, Media Sales & Partnerships for News, is a high-impact, project-based leadership position designed to drive significant and sustainable growth within the news media agency environment. You will leverage your news media industry expertise to spearhead initiatives aimed at, for example, expanding digital publisher relationships, further developing ENEX's commercial media services and relationships with institutional funding sources like the European Union.

This project is envisioned for an initial period of 12 months. During this time, you will be part of a cross-functional team and develop a comprehensive sales and partnership plan to achieve project objectives. Success in achieving these goals may lead to the creation of a permanent Director role focused on ongoing sales and partnership development.
