An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Award Winning Park Academy. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Junior Crèche Managers to join our Management Team in South Dublin and North Wicklow. Joining us means embracing The Park Academy Childcare ethos whereby we aim to provide an unrivalled five star level of service to children and parents, focusing on the individual needs of each child. These positions are an integral part of the Company’s management team. The Manager needs to forge very strong working relationships both upwards and laterally in terms of the management team, with their employees, suppliers, parents and children. Duties and responsibilities; • To be proactive in terms of the presentation of the crèche • To meet, greet and welcome new or prospective families to The Park Academy Childcare • To take charge of the coordination of emergency evacuation procedures • To take charge of the coordination of accident management procedures • To ensure all cleaning, break sheets & sign in/out sheets are signed and up to date. • To ensure all children files are in order and are kept up to date • To ensure the Hazard checklist and fire drills are completed once a month. • To liaise between management and team members objectively • Carry out daily, weekly and absence reports. • To support management decisions and to be positive about implementing these decisions • Ensuring all team members are aware of The Park Academy’s policies and procedures • To motivate the team through praising, supporting and encouraging any ideas or suggestions etc. if the occasion arises • To support the team. Ensure they know they can come to you with any concerns, ideas etc. • To train new team members when required. To ensure they are taught about “our standards and our way of doing things”. To be proactive about retraining when you observe behaviour that is not appropriate or is incorrect. • To attend meetings with other Management Team Members when required • To be flexible in terms of hours worked, willing to work in line with business needs • You must be able to drive and have access to a car
