Main responsibilities We are currently looking for an IT Deployment Coordinator who will join our busy team and assist with the contractual needs of the business regarding IT Deployment. Duties include: * To coordinate the planning and activity associated with in-unit systems deployment projects * To coordinate third party vendor deployment activity * To liaise effectively with key Business sector contacts, project group members and other Compass and Client teams * Ensure the efficient and cost effective delivery of in-unit solutions to required timescales and with minimum disruption to business operations * Attend in-unit deployment meetings both internal and external, providing advice and support on all areas of the Compass strategic in-unit IT offer and deployment processes * Maintain a technical understanding of all in-unit systems for deployment across the Compass estate * Provide IT deployment related status reports, updates and cost analysis as required * Assist with the production of deployment install documentation as required Ideal candidate * Demonstrable experience of working in an IT professional role * Proven experience of IT project delivery * A strong team player with the ability to work with, support and compliment other team members * Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with business clients, internal teams and third party vendors * Ability to construct clear and concise documentation, reports and plans * Ability to accept responsibility and work using your own initiative * Ability to maintain a mature, calm approach to all situations * Ability to multi-task and maintain focus * Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office product suite * A passion for excellent customer service Desirable * An IT/PM Qualification such as ITIL, Prince2 or other would be an advantage * Experience of IT Finance monitoring and reporting * Proven experience of the deployment of IT systems and networks * Previous knowledge and experience of EPOS and payment systems including self-checkout. * Knowledge of consumer digital solutions including payment, loyalty and pre-order etc. * Understanding of JSP480 governance would be an advantage but not essential About the company Our Company vision is Great People, Great Service, Great Results and we believe your contribution is crucial to the success of the business.
