We are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to uphold the Newcross Philosophies of Care in the local Harwich area, working through our friendly to support clients in their day-to-day lives. The Position: You will deliver a transparent, holistic and person-centred approach to care that ensures that the wellbeing and quality of life of each individual is protected and promoted at all times. Your care will help to support life activities, enabling people to live as independently as possible. Care could include assistance with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care, domestic tasks and any activities that enable individuals to live their life in the way they choose. It is essential that you are willing to travel to branch on occasion for interview, induction and ongoing training - available free through our training credits. We are able to offer carers the flexibility to work full or part time hours on either days, nights or weekends – it’s entirely your choice. The right to live and work in the UK 2. At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care or nursing home in the UK within the last 3 years 3. Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs 4. Full driving license and access to a car. You may be required to travel up to 30 minutes to the client's location. 5. A certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course. If you have an NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care, or currently work in a care assistant job, you could be fast tracked through our recruitment process. Why Should You Apply?
