Flexible Job Description We are currently looking for five Global Sales Managers / Directors to hunt for new business in the Energy, Marine, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining and Pulp & Paper sectors. The selected people will all be working in the Heavy Industry OEM & Project sales organization in Danfoss Drives. In these positions, you will report to the Head of Heavy Industry OEM & Project sales. Danfoss Drives has legacy of being part of project business, especially when premium drives and drive systems are sold. Now we have decided to invest for further in our ability to drive profitable growth in heavy industry projects to become even stronger in Low voltage AC Drives. We aim to win and develop new strategic accounts in selected heavy industries, create pull from selected global heavy industry end-users and improve our win rate in global and cross-border project business. Moreover, we want to build a competitive global System integrator partner network, to win and to execute successful projects and take care of our installed base. Our aim is also to develop and maintain required business processes and tools to enable efficient execution of projects and to leverage and develop the knowledge and competence in AC Drives applications for selected industries. Main tasks: •Create strategies and systematically search for new business in the selected area globally •Co-operate with Regions to identify target customers •Plan and execute customer meetings •Promote Danfoss Drives to be on vendor list, when the opportunity is existing •Act as key account manager for at least one customer To success in this position, you should have: •Excellent knowledge and preferably experience of Drives in the specific business (i.e. Energy, Marine, Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining or Pulp & Paper) •Sales skills, negotiation skills and project sales experience •Understanding of project business financials and contract management •Readiness for extent traveling and flexible working hours •Excellent written and spoken English •Excellent communication skills •Ability to make decisions and tolerate stress •Suitable education •Knowledge of Danfoss Drives Premium drives and drive systems is a benefit, but not mandatory •Matrix leading skills •Team player and “can do” attitude Interested in being part of the Danfoss Drives Heavy Industry Project Business?
