They now seek an EXPERIENCED Field Based Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. An immediate start is available for the right candidate. The role is primarily field based, (Nationwide) but you will be required to work onsite at their Head Quarters in Boroughbridge, dependant on business needs. Key responsibilities will include: · Installation, commissioning of Balers and Compactors · Carrying out Baler and Compactor machine repairs, servicing and maintenance on and off site · Diagnosing faults and problem solving to repair · Working on hydraulics and electrical circuits · Slinging and lifting machinery · Reading and interpreting engineer drawings · Preparation of service reports · Liaising with customers when on client site · Working with other internal departments · Staff training as required The ideal candidate MUST: 1. Be a formal apprentice trained and skilled Engineer and/or have experience in a similar role; AND 2. Have general electric and hydraulic experience; AND 3. A full, clean UK driving licence Experience working on Balers and Compactors is preferred but not essential, as is a Fork Lift Truck licence. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to use your own initiative and work autonomously as well as part of a team.
