Your team and tasks: You will become part of our Audiological System Development and Requirement group, a part of the R&D Unit Audiology and Embedded Systems. The group is responsible for driving, designing and setting requirements for the audiology in the hearing solutions, in particular the hearing aids and the configuration of these in the fitting software. The successful candidate will have the ability to collaborate closely with a broad range of stakeholders within Product Management, Marketing, R&D and other development functions. You integrate their inputs to create state of the art audiological solutions. Your main tasks will include: •End-user and customer needs analysis •Development, refinement and management of requirements •Prototyping audiological concepts in e.g. Matlab •Acoustic measurements and validation •Idea generation and innovation projects for audiological solutions •Be part of SCRUM team with focus on audiology and the end user We work in an agile setup and offer you the chance to be part of a professional team where all your colleagues focus on the complete project and welcome your ideas and inputs. Your background: We expect you to hold at least a M.Sc. in Engineering or similar, within audiology, psychoacoustics, acoustics or similar. You have a strong interest in R&D and can work with structured development using requirements, guidelines and documentation. If you previously have worked with hearing aids, fitting software, audio diagnostic equipment and/or hearing impairment it will be an advantage. Also, any experience from usability design and validation will be an advantage. We expect you to adapt easily to changes and new challenges in a positive way. You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary international environment and communicate, argue and present your ideas in a strong and convincing way. You speak and write English fluently.
