We are currently working with a Nursing home situated in Sidcup who offer Dementia, Nursing and End of Life care to their 32 residents. Our client requires a Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse who values the quality of care above all else, and has a real passion for making a difference to older people’s lives. Reporting to the home manager, the Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse will be accountable for assisting the oversight and maintenance of the resident’s care ensuring their individual needs are adhered to at all times and being responsible for the day-to-day running of the care home in the absence of the home manager. Attributes required for the role: • Previous clinical leadership experience, management of shifts and delegation to the nurses and care staff. • A valid NMC Pin number. • Experience in audit • Passionate about providing the best care possible to the Residents, driven by principles and conscientious of their individual needs. • A team player, offering support, mentorship and encouragement to your colleagues. • Proactively work to develop both yourself and your colleagues whilst always striving to do your best. • Previous experience of providing nursing care in an elderly or dementia setting. • A warm welcoming approach to care, showing respect to the residents, their families and your colleagues. This is a temporary role but with the option to become permanent for the right candidate.
