Overview Corporate Communications is accountable for building a coherent company identity that supports LafargeHolcim’s business priorities. The team plays a central role in determining the plan and agenda for the wider communications team and sets group-level communication/reputation strategies. Corporate Communications’ outputs include integrated campaigns, performance reporting, management of corporate channels, identification of speaking platforms, and engagement of key global stakeholders. The team produces content, identifying and developing stories, company positions and consistent messaging that can be used proactively and reactively across the company. The team’s primary focus is external. However, Corporate Communications also works closely with colleagues in Internal Communications to engage employees through integrated campaigns designed to reach multiple audience groups. Responsibilities The role: This role operates across all areas of the corporate communications brief, helping develop and implement strategies that shape how LafargeHolcim is regarded by its external stakeholders. When required, the role deputises for the Head of Corporate Communications. The Corporate Communications Senior Manager acts as custodian for the company brand wherever it is used in corporate communications. This can include shaping and implementing verbal and visual identity guidelines across external channels and other corporate engagement activity. The Senior Manager is responsible for setting up and managing the company’s speaker bureau, identifying platforms for senior executives and board members to engage with key stakeholder groups on Group-level topics. He/she adopts an integrated approach to leverage speaking opportunities across geographies, audience groups and channels. The Senior Manager establishes a KPI framework to assess the state and health of LafargeHolcim’s reputation in key territories, the outputs of which are used to inform Group-level engagement and communications strategies for the company. The role defines the partnership and sponsorship strategy at Group level to ensure LafargeHolcim is working with external organisations to advance a shared agenda. This includes working with internal groups to align activities (eg with the LafargeHolcim Foundation) and set appropriate guidelines for partnership and sponsorship. - Custodian of the LafargeHolcim brand across corporate communications activities; working with the Branding team, sets communication guidelines and monitors implementation/adherence. - Identifies speaking platforms that offer opportunities to advance company agenda; point of contact with events organisers to position LafargeHolcim in favourable light. - Develops content (scripts and other speaker support) and provides coaching, where appropriate, for senior execs and board members. - Builds measurement/KPI framework, in line with reputation strategy. - Sets guidelines for Group-level sponsorship and partnerships; ensures effective management of corporate relationships to drive shared agenda. - Supports other members of the communications team, as required, to manage peak activity (eg quarterly reporting process, AGM). - Acts as a coach to other members of the Corporate Communications team and, where needed, deputises for the Head of Corporate Communications. - Manages agency relationships to ensure value for money and high quality results. Education/Qualifications: - Degree / Master degree equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in Business, English, Communications, or Journalism a plus). Experience: - 10-15 years’ experience in a variety of communications disciplines, including corporate communications. - Experience in industry (ideally publicly listed), international environment and matrix organizations. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (eg script production) - Track record of developing communication strategies to support business objectives. - Able to apply full range of commu
