197-QE50-Cons-Haem The Trust welcomes applications for a Consultant Haematologist. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Haematology Team in the newly formed Lewisham &Greenwich NHS Trust. The post is for a replacement, whole-time Consultant based primarily at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich QEH but candidates may be requested to attend some cross-site commitments. Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is a new Trust formed on 1st October 2013, following the merger of Lewisham Healthcare NHS Trust and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Greenwich. We are a committed multi-professional team who provide much-valued hospital and community services as one organisation. We offer medical, surgical and emergency services to local residents, and also provide a range of specialist services for South East London and beyond. Our community health professionals work closely with the hospital and GPs to provide support to adults and children in their own homes and across a range of health centres and clinics. Applicants should be in possession of the FRCPath Haematology or equivalent and must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a licence to practise and be on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of obtaining their CCT at the time of interview.
