You could then be our key player in business and market development through close cooperation with sales team in sub-region Europe and North America. Your challenges and tasks Our Business & Market Development Managers are in a close dialogue with the Sales Companies in Alfa Laval, ensuring local action plans alignment with the Boiler Service strategy. The Business & Market development is a support function to the Sales Companies ensuring they are updated and trained in new products and services, that they develop according to goals and KPI’s, encourage the sales teams to penetration of new market. You will be a part of a new established team with 3 motivated colleagues in an informal atmosphere, the team is involved in strategic projects for Boiler Service and deliver Business Intelligence data to the Sales Companies. You will report to the Manager for Boiler Service and be a member of the Boiler Service Management Team. Your profile and competences We are looking for a colleague with a technical background as preferable a Marine Engineer or export engineer – having knowledge about Alfa Laval boiler systems as well as maritime business experience is an advantage. At a personal level, you transform your comprehensive product knowledge to selling points for the Sales teams. You are a strong communicator building up a wide network at a global scale. You are an organized person, with a high energy level and a strong impact, you are flexible, and possess a strong intercultural empathy. You are outgoing, proactive and capable of handling many tasks at the same time and still meet your deadlines. Further, good written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, along with good understanding of Microsoft Office products. You should expect 40- 50 days of traveling on a yearly basis.
