Account Manager, Response Global Media Overview: Response Global Media (RGM) is a fast-growing, independent media and events company, which has gone from start-up to 20 people and is hiring to furt her grow its business lines. Further publications and events launches are planned. The role: RGM’s strategy is to build lasting client relationships over the long term . Our client turnover is very low. The sales process is consultative, requiring a strategic mind-set. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for: * Working with the sales and events teams to maintain existing relationships and identifynew business opportunities * Managingan established portfolio of clients o evaluating their needs through face to face meetings, market research and data analysis o identifyingadditional revenue streams o developing bespoke solutions o reporting back to the head of sales on long term strategic opportunities * Prospecting for new clients and working with them to become established clients * Developing sales materials that are informative and useful to the end customer Based in our London office, you will be expected to travel to attend conferences and meet clients in Asia, Europe and Latin America dependent on the location of your own portfolio of clients – potentially 6-8 weeks travel per annum. We’re looking for someone who can bring most or all of the following: * Proven track record within a publishing and/or events environment * Understanding of financial markets and products, particularly investment management * Managerial experience or ready to step into management * Excellent oral and written English communication skills * Confident, self-motivated, team player * Highly organized / calm under pressure / problem solver * Enthusiastic with a strong interest in sustainability * Want to work in a business environment where people are passionate about what they do * Proficient Microsoft Office etc Salary: Basic £35-40,000 dependent on experience, plus share of team commission pool OtherBenefits: UK pension auto-enrolment; 25 days holiday per annum; excellent working environment Closing date for applications: Friday 21stJuly
