Lead Production Operative. Dublin. Irlanda

The Lead Production Operative works in an industrial environment involving mixing machinery blending raw materials. This work must be carried out in a safe and effective manner with enthusiasm; flexibility and accuracy while rigidly adhering to all quality and health & safety requirements. You will carry out production of Eva-Tec’s full range of products while ensuring the correct and safe functioning of our warehouse system. It is also a requirement of your role to contribute to production related R&D activities as requested and support overall production / inventory management at our Warehouse, when required. Your role also includes the delivery of your annual agreed KPIs.

Key Accountabilities:

All the duties listed below should be carried out in accordance with company policies & procedures. All employees are expected to contribute to the growth of Eva-Tec. This may often require your input on projects that are not specifically outlined below. Eva-Tec expects that employees seek to improve our business and up-skill where necessary.

Production                            

• To manufacture products as per weekly production plan/works orders issued in accordance with the formulation manual.

• To use the issued production plan and works orders to request raw materials / packaging or deliveries / collections that are required for production, etc.

• To complete all forms / paperwork as directed.

• You must demonstrate clear communication with the production and sales teams as necessary to ensure that Eva-Tec sufficiently meets our customers’ demands.

• All production must be carried out in accordance with Works Order and Formulation manual procedures.

• All your duties must be carried out in accordance with our Health & Safety standards wearing the required safety equipment.

• Maintain good housekeeping standards and ensure the work area is always in top standard condition.

Warehouse / Inventory                    

• To ensure warehouse housekeeping objectives are achieved and to comply with our Warehouse &Inventory policy.

• To comply with environmental waste management policy and procedures.

• To reduce aged/rework stock through production as directed.

• To carry out a physical count for the monthly stock-take.

• Housekeeping check is carried out and the results are recorded daily.

• Inventory counts carried out to a high degree of accuracy.

• Adherence to Health & Safety policy.

General                    

• To assemble and maintain satisfactory records of all production activities.

• To carry out daily/weekly safety checklists, fork-truck checklists and environmental wastewater tests & logs.

• To contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure correct operation of production and warehouse equipment with the associated maintenance checks completed as required.

• Report any damaged or faulty equipment to Technical/Production Manager

• Ensure that all administrative and quality related paperwork is up to date.

• Any other duties which may arise.
